There are just a few more days remaining for the 2012 autumn season at Uncle Shuck’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch.
The popular agritourism complex north of Cumming will be open for one final weekend this Friday (4 p.m. to 10 p.m.), Saturday (10 a.m. to 10 p.m.) and Sunday (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.). The 11th season for the maze will conclude at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18.
As a Thank You to all customers making the final farewell excursion for fall, Uncle Shuck's will be offering complimentary pie pumpkins for Thanksgiving, while supplies last.
In addition to the four miles of twisting maze trails, Uncle Shuck's offers hayrides, an evening bonfire area with marshmallow roasting, climbing goat area and Kiddie Corner for young children. Admission to the corn maze is $10 for anyone 5-years-old and older; maze admission is free for children four and under. The tractor-drawn hayrides along the Etowah River, which include marshmallows for roasting at the bonfire area on Friday and Saturday, are $5 per person. The Cob Combo is a ticket for $13, which includes admission to the maze and the hayride.
