GEORGIA HOUSE DEMOCRATIC CAUCUS HOLDS LEADERSHIP ELECTION
Atlanta, Ga. – November 12, 2012 – Georgia House Democratic Caucus held a leadership election for the following positions: Minority Caucus Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary and Chief Deputy Whip.
The elections were held at the Capitol this morning as Minority Caucus Secretary Debbie Buckner welcomed incumbents and new elected officials to the Caucus.
The following representatives were elected to this year’s Caucus leadership position:
- Minority Leader Stacey Abrams
- Minority Whip Carolyn F. Hugley
- Minority Caucus Chairman Virgil Fludd
- Minority Caucus Secretary Debbie Buckner
- Minority Caucus Treasurer David Wilkerson
- Minority Caucus Vice-Chairman Billy Mitchell
- Minority Caucus Chief Deputy Whip Scott Holcomb
