Star 94 Radio Delivers School Supplies to Forsyth Elementary Schools

Georgia United Credit Union and Star94 Radio teamed up in August and September for a school supply drive to meet the growing needs of the students and teachers in the communities Georgia United serves.

Thank you to the many members and employees who spread the word and dropped off new school supplies or cash donations at one of Georgia United’s 16 branch locations.

More than 2,500 supplies (from notebooks to hand sanitizer) were collected and distributed to selected schools in our communities; a number of homeless student programs also received donations. Items collected by Georgia United’s Cumming Branch were distributed at three Forsyth County elementary schools: Chestatee Elementary, Cumming Elementary, and Midway Elementary.
