HoneyBaked is preparing for its annual holiday rush on its signature glazed Honey Baked Hams, Turkey Breasts and full assortment of products by providing part-time jobs for 6,500 people nationwide. The premium food brand attracts seasonal associates who return year after year to call the HoneyBaked stores and Cafés “home” for the holidays.

"Company-wide, HoneyBaked anticipates more than one million customers during the holiday season, from Thanksgiving through New Year’s,” said COO Maggie DeCan.

“To continue our tradition of making memorable holiday meals and exceeding our customer standards during our busiest season, we are searching for a holiday team that respects, understands and delivers the HoneyBaked core values every day.”

Available jobs in the metro Atlanta-area include 21 HoneyBaked Ham locations throughout Cumming, Alpharetta, downtown Atlanta, Austell, Decatur, Douglasville, Duluth, Kennesaw, Lawrenceville, Marietta, Newnan, Roswell, Sandy Springs, Stockbridge, Stone Mountain, Suwanee, Tucker, and Woodstock. 

Nearby Alpharetta is home to the corporate headquarters of HoneyBaked Ham of Georgia, and typically hires about 23 additional people in each of its stores through Jan. 1. 

For some, a seasonal job can potentially lead to a full-time career. When Ami Huff’s sorority sisters at The University of Georgia encouraged her to work at HoneyBaked Ham during college breaks, she never imagined a seasonal gig would turn into a successful career. 

Fast forward 11 positions at HoneyBaked and 23 years later, Huff now serves as the senior director of human resource services. As part of the human resource team, her current mission is to find job candidates during HoneyBaked Ham’s busiest season – the holidays.

Each year, HoneyBaked increases its work force by 200 percent to meet the high demands of a product portfolio featuring the Honey Baked Ham that has become an American tradition at family gatherings, catered office parties and as a celebrated holiday gift. Personnel needs at stores during the holiday season support a major operation to prepare and distribute HoneyBaked’s time-honored products, as well as to ramp up frontline customer sales at over 400 stores nationwide.
