Pinecrest Academy and GOAL Present Achievement Awards to Local Businesses
GC&E Systems Group and NeoMed have been awarded the GOAL Achievement Award by Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program, Inc. and Pinecrest Academy. The Award recognizes corporations that have made a significant financial investment in the lives of Georgia children through a contribution to the Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program.
Both companies have designated contributions to be used to provide scholarships for students from low and middle income families to attend Pinecrest.
Regina Gore, Pinecrest Academy Annual Giving Coordinator said, "We are so appreciative of the generosity of GC&E Systems Group and NeoMed. Their financial investment in Pinecrest through GOAL has impacted the lives of many students desiring a private school education.” Gore explained that the mission of Pinecrest Academy is to form Christian leaders who will transform society.
Lisa Kelly, Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program president, said, “It is important for students to have the option of a private school that fits their needs if they can’t achieve their full potential in their local public school. I am thankful to GC&E Systems Group and NeoMed for creating an opportunity to improve educational outcomes and to allow families to put their children on paths to success.”
Kelly explained that the Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program is the State’s leading student scholarship organization. Providing children throughout the Peach State with Greater Opportunities for Access to Learning (“GOAL”), the program has awarded more than 6,000 scholarships totaling more than $22.3 million since 2008.
