Tita Garcia Named Pinecrest Academy's Outstanding Teacher of Year
Mrs. Tita Garcia, a 14-year veteran of Pinecrest Academy, with 25 years of service in Catholic education, has been named the Outstanding Teacher of the Year 2012 for Pinecrest Academy.
This annual award, administered by the Archdiocese of Atlanta, recognizes those individuals who have distinguished themselves in the lives of the students they serve through their ministry as Catholic educators.
Mrs. Garcia has been a rock of virtue and formation for students at Pinecrest Academy, serving as a teacher in grades spanning from Kindergarten through 12th. She presently teaches Spanish and is the Foreign Language Department Chair in the High School.
Mrs. Garcia will be formally recognized at the 2012-2013 Archbishop’s Education Banquet on February 4, 2013.
