The Athens Music and Arts Festival is now booking bands for performances on one of the three outdoor stages and at various music venues within the city of Athens. Applications may be made online or by mailing in or dropping off a submission. More information is available online for those interested in submitting an application.

This event held annually in downtown Athens showcases the best in regionally and nationally recognized Athens-based talent. More than 200 bands and artists are expected to perform on three outdoor stages and in various music venues within the city of Athens on June 20-24.

Bands from Athens, Atlanta, Georgia, or the southeast which have played in Athens before have a good chance of getting selected to perform. Approximately 85 percent of the slots go to bands from these areas or are from the southeastern market.
