Cumming Fans Line Up to Meet Braves Players

Hundreds of fans waited for hours and hours to meet and greet players with the Atlanta Braves Tuesday in Cumming.

(Pictured) First in line! Ethan and Dad, Matt Chisenhall - Cumming Patch caught up with Pitcher Jonny Venters and Shortstop Paul Janish and asked them about spring training and the upcoming baseball season and what fans can expect.

The 2013 Braves Country Caravan kicked off its southeast tour at Academy Sports + Outdoors located in The Avenue Forsyth Tuesday in Cumming.

Nearly 500 fans waited in line for a chance to meet and get autographs from ball players Tim Hudson, Andrelton Simmons, Jonny Venters, Paul Janish and Braves Announcer Don Sutton.

The caravan will be on the road for two weeks traveling nearly 3000 miles of Braves country to meeting and greeting fans prior to taking off for Spring Training.

Cumming Patch caught up with Pitcher Jonny Venters and Shortstop Paul Janish and asked them about spring training, the upcoming baseball season and what fans can expect. Watch the video and listen to what they have to say.
