It's a close one over in the Republican Primary race for Georgia's Ninth District Congressional seat. If trends continue –and it's way too early to tell with just 2 of 20 counties reporting – Roger D. Fitzpatrick could play the role of spoiler. Doug Collins has 28,074 votes, Martha Zoller collected 26,774 and Fitzpatrick trails with 12,116.

Ooh, this one is very interesting: Doug Collins has 923 more votes than Martha Zoller, a one percent separation so far with 6 of 20 counties reporting in the Ninth Congressional District Republican Primary. And Roger D. Fitzpatrick's almost 17 percent of the vote is more than enough to cause some upset stomachs in his opponents' camps. Collins: 38,925; Zoller: 38,002; Fitzpatrick: 15,698.

It's after midnight, and Rob Woodall appears to have sewn this one up. He has 37,782 of the votes cast and counted in the Republican Primary for Seventh Congressional District so far, with challenger David Hancock totaling 15,068. Woodall likely will face Democrat Steve Reilly, who was unopposed in his party's primary and has 9,977 votes so far.
