Last chance to get pictures with the Easter Bunny and take the kids on an egg hunt. If you have waited, you may have been smart. It looks like there are some great activities planned this weekend.
Get in on the home interior shopping bargains, fun with the family and if you have been considering adopting a pet, Easter weekend may be the perfect weekend to do it. Here are five deals we think you will enjoy in Cumming and in nearby towns.
1. Taste Of Forsyth
Deal: More than 25 restaurants will be offering samples at prices between $1 and $4, a kids zone, touch a truck and entertainment for everyone. Egg hunts will happen at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. The event is at the Cumming Fairgrounds on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

2. Easter Open House
Deal: Come to Ivy Interiors in Alpharetta on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for door prizes, coupon filled eggs, refreshments and pictures with the Easter Bunny.

3. Spring Break Special
Deal: The Designer Consigner in Alpharetta is offering 20 percent off of regular priced items to everyone who mentions the coupon code "spring break 2012" when they check out.
Good Through: The offer expires April 11.
4. Georgia's Largest Easter Egg Hunt
Deal: Bring the family to the World Harvest Church in Roswell for a massive 40,000 egg hunt with train rides, food court options, a petting zoo and hayrides. The event is Saturday starting at noon and is free and open to the public.
Good Through: This is a one-day event.
5. Adopt A Pet
Deal: If you have been thinking of adopting a pet, this is the perfect weekend to do it. Companion Animal Rescue League pet rescue will be at Petsmart in Johns Creek on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Great pets are waiting or new homes and adopting them through rescues such as this one are much cheaper than going through breeders.
Good Through: This is a one-day event at this location but the rescue is always adopting out pets.
