The Forsyth County Democratic Party (FCDP) welcomes House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams to town.

"This is really a historic event," said Sharon Gunter, chair of the FCDP. "She is the first female leader of the Georgia General Assembly to come and make a presentation in our county."

The event, entitled "1st Class Citizens, Women," will be held at the Cumming Playhouse located at School Street Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Gunter says Abrams will be discussing the hottest topics that are in the legislature concerning women, including healthcare issues.

Following Abrams address there will be a question and answer session. Then from 8:30 to 9 p.m. a reception will be held.
