In his news release, Gordon said that after an exhaustive investigation, police determined the mother had a miscarriage in the second trimester of the pregnancy. A lack of money caused her next action.

Hannah was a wonderful person. Even though many years of her life were spent battling cancer, she was always positive, upbeat and ready and willing to help others. She never felt sorry for herself. For those of us who had the privilege of knowing her, we were blessed. Her parents, Teresa and Doug Johnson, were the owners of Johnson Realty in Forsyth County for many years. She also has relatives in Dawson County. Please keep all of her family in your thoughts and prayers. They will need the love and encouragement from friends to deal with this loss.
