Kylie McMaster and Nathaniel Lee, local piano pupils of Sharon Gunter from Gunter Music performed in the National Piano-Playing Auditions, held at the Cumming Playhouse on May 17. The American College of Musicians evaluated the students' performances based upon their presentation of Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Contemporary works. Their performance was in the presence of a professional adjudicator chosen by the National organization. 

Kylie McMaster received a certificate, bronze embossed pin, a report card, and a year's membership in the National Fraternity of Student Musicians for her performance rated as Superior Plus.

Nathaniel Lee also received a certificate, bronze embossed pin, a report card, and a year's membership in the National Fraternity of Student Musicians for his performance rated as Superior Plus.

Throughout the United States and abroad, over 100,000 piano pupils will participate in the annual event held in over 880 music centers.
