Holy Week began this week, and for those of the Christian faith, there are services beginning with Maundy Thursday or Holy Thursday (recognized by many Christian faiths as the night of the Last Supper).

Below is a list of several churches in Cumming offering Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services. Check with each Web site for times and features of Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday services.

Noon - 3 p.m., Reconciliation (a priest will be available in the Reconciliation Room for individual confessions)

3 p.m., Bilingual Stations of the Cross

6 p.m., Good Friday Liturgy in English (8 p.m. Good Friday Liturgy in Spanish), Reading the Passion and have Veneration of the Cross

Maundy Thursday, April 21, Mass at 7:30 p.m. (this is not a Holy Day of Obligation, however, it is encouraged that you attend this beautiful Mass)

Maundy Thursday, April 21, 7 p.m. - Come and celebrate a traditional Maundy Thursday Service which will conclude with the celebration of Holy Communion.

Good Friday, April 22, 7 p.m. - Relive the last hours leading to Christ’s death on the cross and His burial.
