Cumming McDonald's Giving Away Free Coffee

Sept. 29 is National Coffee Day and in celebration of the occasion McDonald's in Cumming will be giving away free coffee for a week to customers.

To celebrate National Coffee Day on Sept. 29, McDonald's is giving a free small coffee to customers in Cumming for an entire week.

“Serving hot, freshly brewed coffee is a universal way to show appreciation and we’re thrilled to share our Premium Roast McCafe Coffee with customers for free,” said John Tamasi, Atlanta area owner/operator. “No strings attached – just visit a participating McDonald’s and enjoy a free small coffee at one of our 285 restaurants in the Atlanta area.”

According to a press release from McDonald's, recent findings by the National Coffee Association found that Coffee isn’t just for breakfast anymore. Daily coffee consumption soared by seven percent in 2011, according to the 2012 National Coffee Drinking Trends report. This increase has reportedly moved coffee solidly ahead of soft drinks.

Six McDonald's locations in Cumming will offer each customer a small Premium Roast McCafé Coffee beginning Sunday, Sept. 23 through Saturday, Sept. 29.

"We anticipate serving an additional 12,600 cups of coffee in Cumming by the end of the week," said Keith Muller, owner/operator of six McDonald's restaurants in Cumming. "McDonald’s Premium Roast Coffee is hot and freshly brewed every 30 minutes and our crew will deliver a quality cup each and every time."
