'Trusted' Neighbor Charged in Alleged Armed Robbery
- Cartersville Patch

A man suspected in the armed robbery of a disabled, blind woman, 58, was arrested when authorities caught up with him at the hospital being treated for a suspected drug overdose.

School Resource Officer Hit by Car at Meadowcreek High
- Lilburn-Mountain Park Patch

The school resource officer was struck by a car at Meadowcreek High School in unincorporated Norcross on Thursday morning.

Police Shootout at Family Dollar
- Cascade Patch

Early Thursday morning gunfire was exchanged between a man and an APD officer who was responding to a "prowler call" at the Family Dollar located at 3500 Martin Luther King Dr.
