Obituary: Trey Scott Spencer

The 15-year-old boy who was found "unresponsive" in the backyard of a friend's home on Monday, will be laid to rest on Friday.

 

Trey Scott Spencer, age 15, of Cumming, . He was a student at . Trey will always be remembered as a loving son, brother, and friend to all who knew him. 

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Shann Clayton and Darrell Outlaw of Rock Hill, SC; father and stepmother, Scott and Lisa Spencer of Cumming; sisters, Erika and Erin Spencer; grandmother, Carolyn Clayton of Rock Hill, SC; numerous step siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 2 at 2 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rex Byrd and Rev. Gary Coffey officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home today from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until hour of service.

Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory in Cumming is in charge of arrangements and has also set up a page for online condolences.

There's also a Facebook page called, "Never Forget Trey Spencer," created earlier this week as a memorial for friends and family to express their thoughts about the teens passing.
