Psychiatrist and Author to Speak at Pinecrest Academy
Parents are invited to hear a critical and compelling talk about how to protect your child's innocence in today's culture.
Pinecrest Academy will host Miriam Grossman, M.D., board certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist, and author for an important speaking engagement.
The free event called, Sense and Sexuality: the Stakes are High - Real Protection in a Hooked Up World, will be held on Sunday, Jan. 29, beginning at 5 p.m. in the John Paul II Lower School Activities building.
During a critical and compelling talk about how to protect your child's innocence in today's culture, Dr. Grossman will reveal the destructive agenda of so-called "scientific" sex education and help parents understand how these endanger the physical and emotional health of our young people and seriously corrupt their futures.
Dr. Grossman provides the biologic reasons for avoiding behaviors that can endanger one's physical health. This community forum will allow parents to be more informed and vigilant on how and where their children get educated on delicate, but critically important, matters.
Dr. Grossman will speak for 50-60 minutes, and then open a Q&A forum, followed by a signing of her two books:
- You're Teaching My Child What? A Physician Exposes the Lies of Sex Education and How They Harm Your Child
- Unprotected - A Campus Psychiatrist Reveals How Political Correctness in Her Profession Endangers Every Student.
This event is open to all adults and mature high school students. For more information visit Dr. Grossman's Web site.
