The programs at Cumming First United Methodist Preschool & Kindergarten are wonderful. Especially because they have a "Young 5" class to help those children with summer birthdays who could use another year before Kindergarten. My eldest would have turned 5 just 3 days before kindergarten and while she is way ahead of the curve academically, she needed another year emotionally, focus wise, and to really get her feet under her with confidence. She still LOVES school & I don't think that would have been the case had we not had the Y5 class option. The teachers & staff are amazing!!!

Cumming First United Methodist Preschool! My child just stared there in September in the 2 year old class and she can't wait to get to school in the mornings! She has learned so much over the past few months! We had a minor behavior situation w/ my child earlier in the year and with the help of her teachers and the administrators, it was completely fixed in just a few weeks. I appreciate their help with this so much! I also love that they have a Young 5's class for children with late birthdays! I just can't say enough about this preschool!

CFUMP is an amazing program with a "magical" quality for this Mom of 3! They teach them so much but they make it all fun! My youngest is in the 4 yr old, 5 day program, and they are waiting the arrival of baby chicks and ducks! The teachers at the elementary school will tell you that the kids from CFUMP come to school prepared!

St. Brendan's preschool is by far the best. As a mother of 4 boys we were very selective in choosing a preschool. The teachers there are always friendly and caring. The children have wonderful opportunities to learn and expand their skills. I think there is a perfect balance in social skill building and education. Truly not just a daycare. Our sons will be better people because of the love and support they have received here through the years.

My 4 daughters all attended Pinecrest Academy's pre-school and we loved it! The teachers are the best anywhere. The kids develop a love of learning that is essential to future academic success. Now that our oldest girls are in college, we look back and see that the solid foundation they received in Pre-school at Pinecrest was so important!

Cumming First United Methodist Church Preschool and Kindergarten is a wonderful preschool...like no other! Not only did my now 15-year-old daughter attend there, but I've worked in the two-year-old program at CFUMCP for the last decade. As a teacher of the very young, I love being a child's first introduction to school, and watching them blossom and grow. Being a part of a child's introduction to social interaction, academics like colors, numbers, shapes, Bible verses, nursery rhymes, alphabet is very exciting! Their excitement for learning is infectious. I love my job!

Cumming First United Methodist Preschool number one in my book!! Moving to Cumming 10 years ago my husband and I were looking for a preschool for our 2 and 4 year old children. Everyone we talked to said, " Cumming First United Methodist Preschool was the best preschool hands down!" After checking out several preschools, we agreed!! Exceptional environment for children!! It was funny when each of my children went for their Kindergarten evaluation the teachers came out to talk to me after the evaluation and asked me where my child went to preschool. I told them Cumming First United Methodist Preschool. They said, "We knew it! We can always pick the ones that come from that program. The children are always so ready for Kindergarten!"
I have been teaching at CFUMC Preschool for 10 years now and love it!! I teach one of the Young 5's classes and it is truly the most rewarding job anyone could ask for! We have so much fun learning without even realizing we are learning. Space Camp is one of our favorites! We go through some pretty amazing "astronaut training", creating a journal about our training, build a space shuttle and even venture "out into space". We have so much fun!
I vote: Cumming First United Methodist Preschool BEST IN CUMMING HANDS DOWN!!

Pinecrest Academy preschool is the best. The teachers truly get to know each child and work with them lovingly at their own level offering advanced level activities and remediation whenever necessary. The personal plan developed by parents and teachers together specifies the specific goals for each child that are worked on throughout the year. HIghly experienced and certified teachers love teaching at Pinecrest and it shows through the many extras offered: transportation day, hatching of chicks and butterflies, school performances, in house field trips, special days for Moms and Dads. The family atmosphere at Pinecrest is simply the best as students continue through their education through high school. I couldn't be more blessed as a parent and faculty member!!!

She has been at FBC since she was 1. I love the teachers and staff. Working alongside our wonderful Pinecrest Academy PreK teachers is quite a privilege. I have witnessed our PreK3 and PreK4 children thrive and learn (and laugh a lot) in a very engaging, joyful, and faith-filled environment. The teachers are not only well-trained and professional, they LOVE their students, each and every one, and their families, too. The field trips and special projects are so well orchestrated. We've had a helicopter land on our soccer field, giant tee-pees set up on campus, special visitors who bring learning to life, and projects that teach these young ones to be giving and charitable. It's a great place for the youngest of students!

First Baptist Weekday Preschool is the best preschool in Cumming. I am amazed at what my two boys learned in just four days a week. It is amazing what the teachers can accomplish in four days. I have seen the results first hand. The students who graduate from FBC Weekday Preschool are so prepared for Kindergarten! I have seen that in the four hours that they are there they accomplish what some kindergarten class do all day. Not to mention that they are surrounded by God and teachers who love GOD. The students come away with much more than a traditional preschool. FBC plants the seeds of faith as well as education....No wonder we have a waiting list the day after we open registration. That speaks for itself. I wish my kids could go there for 12 years!!! Love my First Baptist Weekday Preschool!!!

My daughter has attended Cumming First United Methodist now for two years and is now in the young 5's program there now. The teachers and adminstration are the most caring and loving people out there. What my daughter has learned in the past year is what she would have learned in kindergarten at a public school. Every day she comes home singing and talks non stop about what she has learned and is so brilliantly happy! I researched different schools and then a friend of mine told me about how wonderful CFUMP was. From the moment i walked in, i knew that i didn't need to look any further. My only complaint? Why can't they go there through 12th grade? :)
