Scheduled Water Outage Thursday Night

Water service will be temporarily affected in an area of north Forsyth County.

Water service will be temporarily affected in an area of north Forsyth County beginning tonight at 10 p.m.

The scheduled water outage is to allow for work on a waterline relocation project related to the intersection project at Jot-em-Down Road, Mayfield Drive and Pea Ridge Road, according to Jodi Gardner, director of communications for Forsyth County.

"Customers in the area may experience low pressure, but only two customers will be out of water," she said.

According to a notice on the county government Web site, affected areas include Pea Ridge Road, Anderson Lake Road, Highway 53 and Jot-em-Down Road.

Water service is expected to be restored Friday at approximately 7 a.m.
