It's become quite a joke - something like the Nobel Peace Prize. I mean when a woman who wants the public to pay for her birth control and somebody named Pussy something is nominated??? (Really? Go look at the list).

People still read TIME?

I didn't look it up. Must be somewhere besidesthe US- lol. We haven't used that name in a decade or two (think James Bond-lol). I'll check it out.

Given the choices I voted for Felix Baumgartner. After having seen the 2 hour documentary depicting his struggle to accomplish a feat that NO man ever has I feel it's deserving.

It said that a person doesn't have to be on the list. What about Police Officer Larry DiPrimo whose picture was taken by a passerby of his giving a box of new boots to a homeless man? Here's an excerpt out of the story:
”Jennifer Foster of Florence, AZ was visiting Times Square with her husband Nov. 14 when they saw a shoeless man asking for change,”...she said (as she told her story to the NYPD)...:"Right when I was about to approach, one of your officers came up behind him. The officer said, I have these size 12 boots for you, they are all-weather. Let’s put them on and take care of you.’ The officer squatted down on the ground and proceeded to put socks and the new boots on this man,” Foster told the NYPD. “The officer expected NOTHING in return and did not know I was watching.”
I love this story and the picture that she snapped (the Officer was unaware) is priceless. She later went to NYPD and told her story and found out who he was.

Well, Kenneth, we're living in the time prophecied in the bible where people are lovers of themselves. So, it's the ones that make the hollywood talk circuit (even our politicians do that) and go before congress to get others to pay for their extracurricular activities that make the front page now. Sad, isn't it?

Oh, brother.

My choice is Psy. There is so much division in our country and world. It is great that Psy provided a diversion from that division with "Gangnam Style" and that hilarious dance.
