Forsyth County Kids Shop with Cops
Kids and cops shopped for the holidays at local Walmart.

More than 50 Forsyth County children between the ages of 3-years-old and 14 shopped with local law enforcement officials at Walmart located on Market Place Boulevard on Wednesday evening.
The annual "FOP Cops and Kids©" event was hosted by the Sgt. D.P. Land Memorial Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge 82.
This year the FOP sponsored 59 kids who each received $125 to spend anyway they wanted to on holiday gifts. Their names were provided to the FOP through local churches, the YMCA, social workers within the Forsyth County school system and Abba's House, according to Sgt. Chris Shelton of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office and FOP President.
Cumming Patch was there and caught up with several kids and their families along with the "cops."
