Become a Volunteer at the Horse Rescue

WE always need volunteers at the SaveTheHorses.org Cumming farm in the Ducktown area. We have a volunteer orientation from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 13. You can learn what we do and why we help these needy animals. Children are welcome with parents. You can stay for orientation or stay all day. We will put you to work even if you don't have experience. You can always find a job that needs to be done.

You can clean stalls, fix fences, weed eat weeds, groom horses, feed horses, clean water buckets, sweep cob webs, wash bathrooms, be in charge of cleaning feed and the volunteer area, rake the barn, rake up loose hay, clean up horse paddocks, help repair and maintain the farm plus much more!

Worked on a Clydesdale ranch for 3 years. I am an excellent pooper scooper! There's no bigger poop than a draft horse :)
As long as I am around horses and a barn, I'm in Heaven.
I look forward to your call. Janet. 770-653-3891
