Here are the numbers for the week ending Nov. 8:

Total Active Inventory = 1,127

Listings added = 55

Listings that Expired or Withdrew = 20

Homes that went Under Contract = 35

Homes that closed = 29

As you can see, the same number of homes came on and off the market (55). I spoke with Lou King at Guaranty Mortgage and she says they still have a 3.25 percent 30-year fixed loan. Now is the time for buyers to get serious because there are typically less people in the market as we near the Holiday Season. The only thing most people agree on is that rates will go up! For sellers, now is the time to jump on the market before the annual spikes in inventory in January and March.
