Here are the numbers for the week ending Nov. 14:

Total Active Inventory = 1,112

Listings added = 50

Listings that Expired or Withdrew = 16

Homes that went Under Contract = 30

Homes that closed = 28

Steve Shultz, a Certified Residential Appraiser specializing in Forsyth County, has seen the lower inventory lead to prices stabilizing in most areas. Also, the percentage of active listings that are foreclosures is also dropping.

Thanksgiving Week is typically very slow, so next week we will look at the October numbers and see how they compared to September of this year and October of 2011.
