DESCRIPTION:The Healthcare Provider course is an approximately 4 hour cer
 tification course that is designed for those who care for patients in a 
 wide variety of settings both in and out of the hospital. This course te
 aches the skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation w
 ith a barrier device using supplemental oxygen)\, the use of an AED in a
 dults and children\, and relief of Foreign Body Airway Obstruction in re
 sponsive and unresponsive patients of all ages.\nStudents should be awar
 e that training sessions are in a practice while watching format. Studen
 ts also should dress in casual clothing due to the fact that training se
 ssions will involve close physical contact with manikins that will be us
 ed by fellow classmates. Students should notify the instructor prior to 
 class if allergic to latex or in the stages of pregnancy. \n&nbsp\;
