 \;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;
 &nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; A
rmed with a bottleneck slide\, blues harmonica\, and her signature soul-
filled vocals\, MICHELLE MALONE was born in the Deep South and grew up l
istening to her mother sing in the church choir every Sunday. When it ca
me time to craft her own sound\, she took those religious roots\, blende
d in enough rock\, folk\, and blues to satisfy. The result is\, Debris\,
a high-spirited stripped down blend of rootsy acoustic slide\, gritty e
lectric blues and explosive vocals that harkens back to the lost recordi
ngs of Bonnie Raitt\, Lucinda Williams and The Rolling Stones.JIM BIANCO
\, is a charismatic singer/songwriter and multiple instrumentalist based
out of Southern California\, perhaps best known for his popular clique
residencies at the revered Hotel Caf&eacute\; in Los Angeles. As an inde
 pendent acoustic artist\, Bianco&rsquo\;s captivating\, sexually-charged
solo performances&mdash\;as well as his collaborations with other Hotel
Caf&eacute\; artists and with his full band&mdash\;have made him one of
the kingpins of the singer/songwriter renaissance of the early-2000s. S
ince moving to Los Angeles\, Bianco has released six studio albums. Born
in Brooklyn\, New York\, Bianco grew up mostly in Long Island and learn
ed to play piano at a young age. With a music vocation and an inspiratio
nal well of Miles Davis\, Tom Waits and Loudon Wainwright\, Bianco moved
to Boston to attend college at Berklee College of Music\, where he stud
ied jazz piano and earned a degree in music education. After traipsing a
round Europe he relocated to Los Angeles in 2000\, and while there was o
ne of the early gravitators to the newly opened Hotel Caf&eacute\; space
\, a coffeehouse that hosted an open mic songwriter night. Using a simpl
e principle&mdash\;&ldquo\;that the most important instrument that you c
an use is your heart&rdquo\;&mdash\;Bianco&rsquo\;s early performances s
purred one of the Hotel Caf&eacute\;&rsquo\;s biggest perpetuators\, Gar
y Jules\, to invite the newly moved transplant into an opening slot. Thu
s began the singer/songwriter renaissance that not only put the Hotel Ca
f&eacute\; on the map\, but catapulted many buskers and songwriters into
an until-then nonexistent spotlight. Bianco and his fans are currently
anticipating the release of his upcoming record "Cookie Cutter" - due fo
r release this spring. It will feature 17 songs\, written for and about
real people\, specifically\, real Jim Bianco fans. 17 fans were asked 69
questions and from their answers\, Jim wrote a song for them. The songs
run the gamut between the heartbreaking to the ridiculous. The voice of
EMILY LYNCH in her self-titled 2011 release is so refreshingly pure and
authentic that at moments it is hard to believe it is her debut album. S
he gracefully transitions from the twangy up-tempo opener\, &ldquo\;Gone
 &rdquo\;\, into the introspective and spell-binding romantic ode\, &ldqu
o\;Amy&rsquo\;s Song&rdquo\;\, penned by Andy Hull (Manchester Orchestra
). Her homage to Tom Waits in her version of classic\, &ldquo\;Hold On&r
 dquo\; (Mule Variations\, 1999)\, demonstrates a respectful and artistic
vulnerability. There is an admirable list of seasoned artists who contri
buted their talents to the making of her debut record. Patty Griffin&rsq
 uo\;s long-time guitarist\, Dave Rolfe\, provides thoughtful\, lush and
melodic guitar landscapes that give heavier purpose and depth to Emily&r
squo\;s lyrical and vocal performances. The pedal steel work by Smith Cu
rry (Kid Rock\, Taylor Swift)\, lends a well-rounded Nashville experienc
e to the tracks\, while Rebecca and Megan Lovell (Larkin Poe\, The Lovel
l Sisters) masterfully color the songs with mandolin and dobro prowess t
hat effectively steals the spotlight at just the right moments
