DESCRIPTION:Since 1961\, the Forsyth County Lions Club has served Cumming
  and Forsyth County by helping low-income residents receive   access to 
 quality vision and hearing care.\nIn addition to vision and hearing\, th
 e Forsyth County Lions Club\,   along with several other local civic and
  service organizations and the   Forsyth County Parks and Recreation Dep
 artment\, started a local Miracle  League  to provide physically and men
 tally challenged children a safe  and  spirited program  in which they c
 an hit\, run\, and catch on a  baseball  field &ndash\; just like  other
  kids.\nThroughout the year\, we engage in various fundraising activitie
 s\,   including (but not limited to) the Cumming Country Fair and Festiv
 al\,   Cumming 4th of July Celebration\, and the Vickery Village Christm
 as   Lights Festival.\nMeetings are held every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 7 
 PM at the Golden Corral on 2025 Market Place Boulevard (just off Buford 
 Dam Road next to Best Buy).\nWe are always looking for civic-minded p
 eople from all walks of life   to join our club and would be honored to 
 have you as our guest at any  of  our meetings.
