The Heartsaver first aid with CPR and AED course teaches how to manage illnesses and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes General principles, Medical Emergencies, injury emergencies, CPR, the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and environmental emergencies.

This course is designed for those who have a duty to respond because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. Students are advised that training sessions require close physical contact with manikins that will be used by other classmates. Students should notify the instructor prior to class if allergic to latex or in the stages of pregnancy.
