 spend the day with us and see drivers from all around the Country compet
 e at the #1 Quarter Midget Track in the United States. The North Georgia
  Quarter Midget Association welcomes you and your family to come out and
  watch the races and get to know the drivers and there family's. Admissi
 on is free\; we have concessions and plenty of excitement for the whole 
 family.\nQuarter Midget Racing is a family oriented sport for children a
 ges 5 to 16. Children race in Quarter Midget cars that are a scaled-down
  (approximately 1/4 scale) version of an actual midget-racecar on oval t
 racks that are approximately 1/20th of a mile.The sport focuses on famil
 y participation\, safety\, improvement of mechanical and driving skills\
 , sportsmanship\, and competitive fun.Quarter Midget Racecars are built 
 around a tubular frame and are fully suspended with springs ortorsion&nb
 sp\;&nbsp\;bars and shocks. The bodies are fiberglass and can be painted
  to the driver's&nbsp\;preference.\nSAFETY: Driver safety is the #1prior
 oty in this sport. Surrounding the driver is a full chrome-moly roll cag
 eand nerf bars which protect the driver. Other safety features includemu
 lti-point seat harnesses\, full-face helmets\, wrist-restraints\, neck s
 upport\,and racing suits.Statistically speaking\, this sport is safer th
 an most organized sports\, asinjuries are very rare\, due to the high em
 phasis on safety.The engines are single cylinder and are manufactured by
  Honda\, Continental\,Briggs &amp\; Stratton\, and Deco. In the motors s
 tock configuration they producebetween 2.5 &amp\; 4 horsepower. Modifica
 tions in the upper classes allow theseengines to reach several times the
  stock horsepower. These air-cooled 4-cycle engines are reliable and can
  produce as much as 10\,000rpm's in their more highly modified forms.The
