The Sawnee Artists Association presents the third annual  "Through The Lens," a juried exhibit and sale of fine art photography by some of Georgia's most talented photographers. Dates are September 8-16, 2012.

Our juror is well-known Atlanta area editorial and corporate photographer, Michael Schwarz.

27 photographers are represented in the show this year with atotal of 76 great photographs depicting the theme "Life In the Southern Appalachians."

"Through The Lens" is the first and continues to be the only fine art photography exhibit in Forsyth County.  Our purpose is to increase interest in photography as an art medium and to inspire viewers to explore their own photographic creativity.

Show hours are Saturday, September 8, 10am - 6pm, Sunday, September 9, Noon - 5 pm, Monday through Friday, September 10-14, 10am - 5 pm, Saturday, September 15, 10am - 6 pm and Sunday, September 16 from Noon - 5 pm.  Free to the public.

As visitors walk through the exhibit, they will become immersed in the beauty of the Southern Appalachians through the lens of the photographers.
