Spectacular display of marching band performances from all over the state at the Wolverine Classic on Oct. 27 at 3 p.m. at West Forsyth High School on Drew Road in Cumming. Over a dozen bands will perform a routine of their choice for 10 to 15 each including the Forsyth Central's Flash of Crimson, South Forsyth High School Band and the Pride of the West Marching Band. Local vendors, food and wonderful music will be featured. Tickets are $10 for adults, students six to 12 and senior citizens are $5 and children 5 and under are free. West Forsyth High School, located at 4155 Drew Campground Road, opened in 2007 and quickly gained stature as one of the top high schools in Georgia. West currently ranks 33rd among the state's 155 high schools academically. The school has an excellent Advanced Placement Program and a Technology Department that offers instruction in Business Education, Banking/Investing, Computer Applications and Engineering Concepts and Foundations.
