Tonight's Celebration of Lights with the lighting of the Christmas tree and Northside Hospital-Forsyth and tomorrow's Jingle Jog and eight-annual Cumming Christmas parade are set to proceed despite the possibility of wet weather.

Tonight holds a 90 percent chance of rain, with thunderstorms likely, and tomorrow a 50 percent chance the wet stuff, according to the National Weather Center's forecast for Cumming.

Despite the wet threat, activities kick off at 5 tonight as planned and the jog and parade will proceed tomorrow, organizers tell the Forsyth County News
