How Cold Will It Get in Cumming?

Forsyth County again is set for frigid temperatures.

Cumming is set for another round of frigid cold, although the mercury isn't expected to drop into the single digits as it did a couple of weeks ago.

More arctic air will pour down into the South on Thursday and Friday, according to The Weather Channel.

The National Weather Service predicts clear skies, but cold temps coupled with high winds. The low Thursday night will dip to 14, while northwest winds 10 to 15 mph will gusts as high as 25 mph. Friday night's low will be around 20 with winds gusting up to 25 mph, according to the forecast

The Weather Channel predicts Thursday's low will reach 10 in Cumming.

Dry conditions combined with falling humidity values will create a high risk for forest fires Thursday and Friday, according to the NWS' hazardous weather outlook for portions of north and central Georgia, including Forsyth County.
