Forsyth Conference Center Conference Center hosts Pre Legislative Session Luncheon

Over 150 people attended the Pre Legislative Session Luncheon and panel discussion at Lanier Technical College's Forsyth Conference Center.

The event was held in conjunction with the meeting of the Rotary Club of South Forsyth. The legislative panelists included Senators Steve Gooch and Jack Murphy plus Representatives Mike Dudgeon, Geoff Duncan, Mark Hamilton, and Kevin Tanner.

Paul Chambers, NE Georgia Regional Director of External Affairs for AT&T moderated the discussions, which included transportation/reducing congestion, quality schools, water needs, reducing the size of state government, and improving the state regulatory environment. Carolyn Mixon, President of the Rotary Club of South Forsyth, kicked-off the event.

Many local elected officials and interested business leaders attended the event, and Ann-Margaret Johnston, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce introduced the community and education leaders including Dr. Ray Perren, President of Lanier Technical College, who attended.

High quality customer service and meeting support from the Forsyth Conference Center staff ensured that the event was a great success.
