Jesse's House - Run for Shelter 5k and 1 mile Fun Run

A 5k and 1 mile Fun Run, benefiting Jesse’s House and Bald Ridge Lodge, will be held October 6, 2013 at Fowler Park in Cumming, Georgia and is a Peachtree Qualifier. Jesse’s House and Bald Ridge Lodge are non-profit 501c3 organizations. We provide intensive services for these at-risk youth and are in need of your ongoing support!  Please consider sponsoring this event if you can.

Youth who have been abandoned, neglected, or abused find a safe haven at Jesse’s House, Inc. and Bald Ridge Lodge, Inc. (The Lodge). Youth who have had issues with delinquency or involvement with the legal system are given a nurturing and structured environment to develop healthy, positive behaviors. Through partnership with referring agencies and local volunteers, these youth shelters focus on family reunification and restoration. While living at Jesse’s House and The Lodge, girls and boys from across central and north Georgia receive counseling, mentoring, and community support to assist them in this critical life-stage and adequately prepare them for adulthood.

You have a unique opportunity to support both of these organizations through sponsoring the Run for Shelter 5k and 1 mile Fun Run. Net proceeds will go directly to Bald Ridge Lodge and Jesse’s House to support the services provided to at-risk youth.
