Jr. Longhorn Cheerleaders partner with Special Olympians
On September 20th, nearly forty middle school Jr. Longhorn Cheerleaders teamed up with Forsyth County Special Olympic athletes for an evening filled with fun, crafts, food, art, cheers, and laughter at Lambert High School. After the “pep rally”, the kids caravanned to SFHS to watch the War Eagles take on the LHS Longhorns.

The cheerleaders and Special Olympians braided lanyards, beaded bracelets, and designed t-shirts. They made inspirational posters and banners for the upcoming Special Olympics 5K, which will be held on November 2nd, at Lanier Tech.
