Boy Scout, Employees Recognized by Forsyth BOC

Two Forsyth County government employees and a local boy scout were recognized for their service and accomplishment, respectively.

Two employees of Forsyth County government were recognized Thursday for their 25 years of service in their individual jobs.

Lt. James Poe with the Sheriff’s Office and Tim Perkins, director of Water and Sewer, were acknowledged during the April 18 meeting of the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners.

Also, Raghav Srivastava was presented with a Resolution from the commissioners in recognition of attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. Srivastava is a member of Troop 2000 of the Boy Scouts of America and is a student at South Forsyth High School.
