When we left our home state and came to Cumming it would have been a nice gesture if we had been paid a visit by a "Welcome Wagon". Has that gone out of style? We have never heard of the calls that were so very welcome in days gone by.

Just the other day, I was wondering the same thing Jean. As new residents moved into the house nearby in the development I'm visiting. When there is a developement, it would be nice for the HOA Board of Directors to start off on the right foot and have a Welcome Committee (it can't cost that much per year) and it certainly IS an excellant gesture! For neighborhoods that don't have an HOA, than the neighbors should get their own Welcoming group together for this purpose, in my opinion. Thanks for mentioning the subject.
