Caramel Apple is the Cat's Meow

The HSFC is running low on cat litter, please consider donating a bag of kitty litter and dropping it off at the locations listed below.

Caramel Apple is a handsome Silver Point Siamese born around 9/1/2008. She is sweet as her name and as cool as a cucumber. Her blonde fur is the color of creamy vanilla with gold undertones and may be the softest you will ever sink your fingers into! She was recently rescued from the Cobb County Animal Control where her days were numbered. She is currently living with a non-smoking and active foster family and it's clear she gets along with children, adults, other cats and even a big 90 pound dog. She will follow you into every room and loves to snuggle against your laptop while you're working.

Blackie is a female Schnauzer/Lab-mix with an estimated DOB of 2-14-11. Blackie is a sweet girl and she's ready to start living the life she deserves! Her former owners found her abandoned as a puppy. They decided to keep her, but unfortunately she was primarily kept in an outside dog pen. The lady who surrendered Blackie did so for her safety, as someone had kicked Blackie on several occasions. Blackie will need some training to learn indoor manners, but she's young, smart and eager to please. She's playful, likes kids and is fine with other dogs. She does chance outdoor cats.

Chanel is an all black medium hair female born around 4/16/2008. Currently she lives at the adoption center with lots of kitty roommates. She loves being petted and gets along great with other cats too, but would prefer a quite laid-back home environment. She is definitely a lap cat and will love all the attention you have to spare. She's also house trained and would make an excellent addition to your family. She has been at the adoption center for far too long, so Chanel's adoption fee is half off.

Stoney is a Chihuahua/Terrier mix with a DOB of 8/10/2010. He was pulled from a high kill shelter. He loves playing with other dogs and gives the most delicious kisses. He loves snuggling up to his human foster brothers. He was shy at first, but quickly came around once he knew that he was safe and loved. He is a wonderful little guy! Stoney is low maintenance. He is potty and house trained. Stoney is not demanding, but will soak up all the attention and love you have to give. He LOVES playing with other dogs. Stoney does well in the car also. He will just curl up and lay down for the ride. He is nervous at adoptions and does not show his adorable personality. But once you get him home and he knows that he is safe and loved, he will show you his sweet side.
