Cat Rescued from Drowning Needs Home

Meet this weekend's Patch Pets: Seahorse who was rescued from drowning in a creek, Pepper, Frances Shand Kydd and Salt.

Seahorse is a black and white little girl who was rescued from drowning in a creek by a Good Samaritan. She owes that kind person her life. But traumatic experience left her with some special needs: She is deaf and has reduced vision. But she's very loving and affectionate and can cuddle with the best of them. She really wants to be a human's devoted companion. Currently she lives at the Adoption Center but was in a foster home where she learned her kitty manners.

Pepper is Bulldog mix and is known to be the most loving little girl who has had a rather rough start in life as a breeder dog. At first she was very shy and scared but she is quickly learning how much fun it is to run and play. If you are looking for a loyal companion, then you want Pepper. She is estimated to be 4 to 5-years-young, healthy and sweet.

Frances Shand Kydd is a beautiful domestic shorthaired female tabby born around Dec. 9, 2009. She currently resides in the pink room. As you can see, she is quite stunning, sweet and loving. Visit the shelter today and spend some time with her me She is waiting for her forever home.

Salt is a female American Staffordshire terrier with an estimated date of birth of August 7, 2011. Salt is currently at The Pet Lodge Resort located at 3456 Bethany Bend Alpharetta. Their phone number is 770-475-3455. You can also e-mail Janice at Janice.r.shields@comcast.net. She is about 3-years-old, very active, playful and sweet. Because of her activity level she will do best with older children and a family that loves to walk and play. With proper introductions she is fine with other dogs but not sure about cats. She is also learning to walk nicely on the leash and bring the ball back.

Call the HSFC at 770-887-6480 for more information about these wonderful companions or to set up a meet and greet.
