Cumming Country Fair and Festival Returns

It's that time of the year again for fun rides, corn dogs, turkey legs, cotton candy, games, entertainment and much more.

The Cumming County Fair and Festival returns Thursday for it's 18th year at the Cumming Fairgrounds.

From Oct. 4 - 14, visitors and locals, young and old will enjoy many of the old favorites including, the Miss Cumming Fair Pageant, the canning & baking competition, the American Bullriders Tour, Heritage Village, the food, the discounted days, and all those awesome rides with four new ones this year.

There will also be plenty of live music featuring the Charlie Daniels Band. Last year the band had to cancel their performance due to the sudden death of longtime keyboard player and vocalist Joel Taz DiGregorio.

New this year, the King BMX Stunt Show, featuring professional BMX riders who will perform high-flying aerial stunts and technical maneuvers.

The fair began in 1995 and lasted only five days, but over the years has grown to become an 11-day event. According to the City of Cumming, the Fair is boasted as an “Affordable Family Outing” with free attractions, concerts, exhibits as well as discounted ticket prices on certain dates.

Admission prices are as follows:

  • Adults - $7
  • Students (5-18) - $3
  • Kids 4 and under are free
