Forsyth County Hosts Electronics Recycling Event

The one-day recycling event is Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Cumming Fairgrounds.

It's that time of the year to dust off your old computer monitors, cell phones and VCRs and bring those items to the electronics recycling event Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Cumming Fairgrounds’ parking lot 3 off of Castleberry Road.

The program hosted by Keep Forsyth County Beautiful (KFCB) will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“We are very proud to offer this event to the community,” said Tammy Wright, environmental program manager in a press release. “By recycling their old electronics, residents can remove clutter from their homes while making a difference in the environment at the same time.”
