Mutts and More Festival, Rabies Clinic This Weekend

The festival kicks off at noon Sunday at Fowler Park in south Forsyth County.

Those who love pets and want to see them live healthy lives will gather at Fowler Park on Sunday for the Mutts and More Festival.

The Humane Society of Forsyth County's event, which will include a chance to microchip and vaccinate cats and dogs against rabies, will start at noon in Cumming.

The park is located at 4110 Carolene Way and the event, which is a fundraiser for the society, is free and will happen rain or shine.

The rabies vaccine will go for $12 and owners can pay $20 to have their pets microchipped. 

The festival will also include pet adoptions from over 15 area rescue groups, dog shows, arts and craft vendors, music, 15 food vendors, games for adults, the famed Mutt Strutt and demonstrations of trained dogs.
