Forsyth Plans Ice Cream Social, Concert Sunday

Forsyth County Senior Services invites residents to come cool off and enjoy some music to celebrate Independence Day. 

The county agency will host an ice cream social and concert for all ages later this month.

The event will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 30, at the Sexton Hall Enrichment Center. The Sounds of Sawnee Concert Band will expected to perform, which is part of the quarterly concerns hosted by Forsyth County Senior Services.

The cost is $5 per person. 

“We are excited to host a patriotic concert for our community,” Director of Senior Services Michael Bohn said. “With the hot weather of summer upon us, we are really looking forward to offering an ice cream bar, complete with an assortment of toppings. It should be a great afternoon.”

Sexton Hall Enrichment Center located at 2115 Chloe Road, just off of Sharon Road between Peachtree Parkway and Old Atlanta Road.
