Forsyth Seniors Citizens Dance The Night Away at Prom
Forsyth County Senior Services recently held a prom for residents at Sexton Hall, which serves active adults age 50 and over.
Forsyth County's active adults recently proved prom is not just a rite of passage for high school teenagers.
With the help of a local Girl Scout, Forsyth County Senior Services held a prom for its clients at Sexton Hall. The event was also attended by deputies from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office and firefighters from the Forsyth County Fire Department.
The prom was organized by a girl scout, who coordinated the event with the county agency as part of her effort to obtain her Gold Award, the highest honor a Girl Scout can obtain.
