Deal: Target debit REDcard automatically saves you 5 percent off every purchase. I could kick myself for not doing this sooner. It excludes prescriptions, gift cards, Target Mobile and Target Optical. All you have to do is give the cashier a blank check to apply. The debit card is linked to your checking account and there are no fees or catches! When I shop at Target instead of handing the cashier my bank debit card I pay using my Target debit card and the money comes out of my checking account the same way it would if I used my bank debit card, but I get 5 percent off my entire purchase.
