Get Out: Make A Plan For The Weekend

The weather is finally going to be nice this weekend so get out and start celebrating Earth month with a rock concert, get creative and build a butterfly garden or learn how to climb a tree!

Where/When: 9770 Autry Mill Rd, Johns Creek, Friday April 1, 4 p.m.

Why: Bring your kids and watch the Autry Mills animals at chow time! The critters are hungry, so the program starts on time and goes fast, so don't be late!

A special addition, participants will also be able to view the exhibits exotic reptiles.

Price: $5 per member child, $7 per non-member child (children 3 and under, and parents are free).

Where/When: Diesel Pizza and Pub, 944 Alpharetta St. Roswell, Saturday, April 2, Noon – 4 p.m.

Why: Help Diesel Pizza raise funds for Animals Deserve Better, Inc. Join the 2nd Annual “PBR for PUPs” event with live music and PBR specials. Everyone is welcome and bring your pets to hang with you the patio. Plus 20 percent of proceeds benefit Animals Deserve Better, Inc.

Why: Tree climbing is a lot of fun and great workout for the whole family. Climbers will be given instruction and guidance while climbing. All equipment will be provided.

Why: Join dave fm as they kick-off “Earth Month” with this incredible concert and celebrate all of the environmental partners who are dedicated to making our community a better place to live.

The concert features 2011 Grammy-nominee Band of Horses, along with newly reunited The Jayhawks!
