Grab & Go Kids Planner: March 23

There are all sorts of fun events to take the kids to this weekend including a hockey game, a book signing at a horse farm, a play and much more.

Why Go: Meet Alex Brown, author of Greatness and Goodness: Barbaro and his Legacy at his book signing at the Save The Horses.org horse rescue farm. At the same time visit the animals present at the event.

Where/When: Sidney’s Pizza Parlor Vickery Village, 5772 N. Vickery Street, Cumming, Saturday, March 26, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Why Go: This family fun day event will include live music by Bobby McConnell, exciting door prize drawings, and fabulous menu specials. This is one event you won't want to miss!  

Price: Free to attend, menu options vary in price.

Where/When: Fowler Park 4,110 Crossland Dr, Cumming, Saturday, March 26, 8 a.m. - 10 a.m.

Why Go: Every child needs a hero, but abused children need superheroes!  Join us, Saturday, March 26, at 8 a.m. for the 3rd annual CASA 5K Run/Walk. This year will feature a SUPERHERO theme--you are encouraged to come dressed as your favorite superhero. Event t-shirts for all registrants and awards will be presented for top finishers in age categories and be awarded for best costumes. 

Price: $25/individual; $20 per person for families of three or more; $10 for 1K fun run. Add $5 the day of the race.

Where/When: Gwinnett Arena 6400 Sugarloaf Pkwy, Duluth, Saturday, March 26, 7 p.m.  - 10 p.m.

Why Go: Join the Gwinnett Gladiators Saturday, March 26 at 7:05 p.m. for Autism Awareness Night. The Gladiators have special discounted tickets available for anyone who wishes to support Autism Awareness.

Price: $13.00

Where/When: , 950 Forest St, Roswell, Saturday, March 26, 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: The Atlanta Dance Theatre presents Michael Hollier's original "

10 a.m. - Alice in Wonderland is followed by the

  • Meet the Mad Hatter, Alice, the White Rabbit and more. Get autographs and have a treat with the characters!

 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. -

  • The Atlanta Dance Theatre presents Michael Hollier's original Alice In Wonderland and Paquita. It's fun for the whole family!

Price: 10 a.m. performance: $20; 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. performance: $15 - $22
