Gravitt Road to be Temporarily Closed

Closure is to allow for the upgrade of the existing drainage system located just north of Spot Road at an existing creek crossing.

Gravitt Road will be temporarily closed to through traffic beginning Monday, July 7.

This temporary closure is to allow for the upgrade of the existing drainage system located just north of Spot Road at an existing creek crossing. The road is expected to re-open to through traffic by Friday, July 18, weather permitting.

During the closure, a detour route will be signed along Twin Lakes Road.

“We appreciate motorists’ patience during this temporary closure,” Director of Engineering John Cunard said in a statement.
